All studio type sessions are held in my commercial studio located In Chesapeake, VA.

We are located in Chesapeake in the Deep Creek area. You can find our location on any Google maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.

We never truly know when baby will arrive. Because of this, I only book an extremely limited number of spots based off baby's due date month. I do this to ensure flexible scheduling so I don't book many shoots around that time.

Once baby has their birthday, I will schedule the shoot between 4-21 days old as long as Mom and baby are healthy. Together we will coordinate the best date for you in the week to follow for your newborn session.

Let me know as soon as possible and we will coordinate the best time to schedule your photoshoot.

What is most important is that everyone is healthy and receiving the proper care needed. We will make gorgeous portraits even if its not in the ideal 4-21 day time frame.

Parents, sibling and group portraits are included. I do not charge extra for those because it is very important to me to photograph them, and I would never charge extra in case of hinderance.

Pets are not allowed in the studio due to allergies and to maintain studio sanitary.

For Newborn shoots- the simpler the better. Stay with solids, neutrals and simple patterns. We want you to be the main focus without any distracting clothing.

For Family Portraits- We want clothes to coordinate, not match exactly. So pick 3-4 colors in a color palette, and create outfits that fit in your pallet. Keep in mind seasonal colors and mood. If you want moody style, stick with dark colors. If you want light and airy, go with soft bright colors and pastels.

For boudoir- bring your own lingerie and outfits. We have all the accessories from wings to body chains.

Outfit guidance will be discussed at your preshoot appointment.

Nope! I will provide all props, backdrops, wraps, bonnets and headbands. All accessories are provided for you.

If you have some sentimental jewelry or like a special blanket, of course you can bring that to incorporate in your photoshoot, but it is not necessary.

Maternity sessions are roughly an hour and 15 minutes.

Newborn sessions are 2.5-3 hours long. This is needed for feeding breaks, diaper changes and intricate posing.

Boudoir is about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Family sessions are anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the members.

It really depends on what products you're interested in! Digital only collections start at $775 for Newborn, maternity and family portraits.

Boudoir products start at $775 for mini prints.

My average client spends between $1500- $3500. We will go over all of my products and pricing in detail before you book a session so you can get an idea of how much to budget for your desired products.

Maternity sessions should be booked when mom is between 14-20 weeks. We photograph moms when they are 27-34 weeks so this will ensure they get a spot.

Newborns must be booked before baby is born. We usually book out about 2-3 months in advance

Boudoir shoots usually need about 6-8 weeks in advance.

Spots are incredibly limited and fill up very quickly. Booking in advance allows for proper planning and customization. The sooner, the better.

You are welcome to take a few behind the scenes photos or videos on your cell phone. These must include my equipment, or me and I love sharing them on social media!

You may NOT take photos in any setups, that is what you're paying me for and I promise these photos will look much better. Any traditional cameras must be left at home.

All studio photoshoots begin at 10AM, and are scheduled M-TH.

Outdoor family sessions are scheduled during golden hour (the hour of sunset) M-F.

It is best to wait for a week to schedule the newborn session so there is no risk of aggravating or infecting the wound.

Absolutely! We know you're paying multiple for everything, so we in our studio do not charge extra for multiple babies.

Your zoom appointment will be scheduled 7 business days after the photoshoot has taken place.

Portrait selections and purchases are made same day.

Digital turn around is 10 business days. Any printed artwork may take 6-8 weeks to process and deliver from the labs.

Our studio does not offer refunds for any of our services or purchased goods. All sales are final for fees, rescheduling fees, digital portraits and product, and tangible goods.
